How to find a Spotify code
When listening to a song, browsing an artist’s profile, rocking out to your favorite playlist, etc. just click on the three little dots in the top right corner.
The image that displays here is known as the Spotify code. Click on it and it will enlarge the Spotify code.
How to use a Spotify code
Once you’ve found the Spotify code you want to use you can save it to your photos and post it on your social channels, email it to your fans, place it on your website and distribute it however you’d like. You can always be “old school” and just have your friends scan it directly from your phone.
How to scan a Spotify code
Scanning a Spotify code is a pretty simple process. Just tap the search bar in Spotify as you would when you’re about to search an artist, song, playlist, podcast, etc. and as soon as your keyboard pops up take a look in the top right corner. You’ll find a little camera icon. This is the icon you’ll want to click if you’re going to scan a Spotify code.
Once you click on the icon it’ll ask for access to your camera and photos. Select yes and you’ll be able to scan a Spotify code.
If you saved a Spotify code previously or received a Spotify code as an image, be sure to save it to your device and then select the Spotify code from your photos rather than scanning a Spotify code directly from someone’s device.
